New York Cayuga Medical Center to Adopt Clinical Integration Programs

Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cayuga Medical Center is looking to improve quality care and reduce costs by implementing clinical integration programs, according to an Ithaca Journal report.

Clinical integration is being adopted by hospitals across the country. Clinical integration brings together healthcare providers, such as physicians and hospitals, to better coordinate care in order to reduce costs.  

Cayuga Medical Center has already set one practice in place to help streamline processes for efficiency by cutting down time spent delivering reports and images different office locations.
