Leapfrog Group Proposes Changes to Hospital Survey for 2013

The Leapfrog Group, an organization promoting patient safety, announced proposed changes to its hospital survey for 2013.

The Leapfrog Hospital Survey assesses hospitals’ performance using national performance measures. Proposed updates to the survey reflect “new learning about quality, safety and efficiency measures and the best way to structure the Survey instrument,” according to the release.

The Leapfrog Group will accept comments on the proposed changes until close of business Dec. 16.
