Stephen Weber, MD. Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness and CMO of University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Weber is the author of numerous studies on the prevention and management of healthcare-associated infections, primarily those caused by multidrug-resistant pathogens. As part of an infection prevention outreach team with the University of Chicago, Dr. Weber hosts monthly educational web meetings for school nurses in Chicago and the surrounding area to help the nurses standardize care their students receive. In addition to his administrative roles at University of Chicago Medicine, Dr. Weber holds a faculty appointment in the university’s department of infectious diseases and global health.
