Ms. Daley became director of infection prevention and control at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore in 2014. She has co-authored several publications on reducing surgical site infections. She also implemented a “zero tolerance” policy at Sinai. Since the policy’s implementation, the SSI has decreased by 70 percent at the hospital.
