Illinois Gov. Quinn Expected to Sign Mandate to Include Infections on Death Certificates

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn will most likely sign into law a bill that would require healthcare providers to note  infections as a contributing factor or cause of death on a deceased person’s death certificates, if applicable, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch news report.
