The rejuvenation station is a soundproofed area that features six videos meant to relax viewers. Each video is three minutes and includes soothing music.
“It does give an opportunity not only during the busy day in general, but also when you have a very intense moment to decompress and get your focus before you go back. It allows us to be patient-focused,” Kimberley DuBose, the ER operations manager, told the TV station.
The pod is open to both clinical and nonclinical staff, including housekeeping.
