As part of the agreement, Ali Mehdirad, MD, a cardiologist and professor at the university, will work with referring physicians to treat difficult cardiac cases at HRMC. He will be located on HRMC’s campus two days per month, the Harrisburg Register reports.
HRMC physicians, nurses and technicians will also be able to develop and pursue additional training opportunities at SLU, according to the report.
