Under the collaboration, 20 Trinity students will have the opportunity to participate in research initiatives or intern at the Hartford Hospital Ayer Neuroscience Institute, studying conditions such as strokes, Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy, and studying specialties including neurosurgery and neuropsychiatry.
While the institute will not maintain a physical location, students will be able to enroll in a five-year program conferring a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in neuroscience for students who conduct research and complete a fifth year.
