Jewish Hospital is the fourth hospital in the nation to participate in the program, which provides health services free of charge to people who cannot afford insurance but do not quality for state or federal programs.
Jewish Hospital is run by Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health, whose Lexington, Ky.-based Saint Joseph Hospital was the first to adopt the Surgery on a Sunday Program.
