CMS: Quality Reporting Deadline Again Delayed Due to Weather

CMS has once again pushed back the deadline for third quarter 2013 quality data reporting programs to Feb. 22 because of the recent severe weather, according to an AHA news release.

The delay affects reporting clinical data for chart-abstracted quality measures for inpatient hospitals and data submitted via National Healthcare Safety Network for long-term care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities and prospective payment system-exempt cancer hospitals.
