Dr. Noble stepped into AAP’s president-elect role May 1 and is slated to assume the president role in May 2024.

Along with his department of medicine chair role, Dr. Noble also serves as director of the Women’s Guild Lung Institute and as the Vera and Paul Guerin Family Distinguished Chair in Pulmonary Medicine at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai.

AAP selected Dr. Noble as its next leader — and inducted three other Cedars-Sinai physicians as elected members — during the association’s annual meeting April 22 in Chicago.
