1. The device is an addition to 3M’s sterilization portfolio.

2. 3M submitted the device for 510(k) clearance in January. It’s still pending approval.

3. The device will give users a standardized approach to biological indicator processing for both steam and vaporized hydrogen peroxide results in just 24 minutes.
