Felipe Huerta Jr., 32, an EMT for Hidalgo County, and 68-year-old Delia Cortines, a patient, were killed Dec. 16 when the driver of a Ford truck drove into oncoming traffic and hit the ambulance, local station KVEO-TV reported.
Andrea Rodriguez, a paramedic, was in the back of the ambulance when it crashed. She is is in the hospital and expected to recover, according to local new stations cited by the Journal of Emergency Medical Services.
