The acquisition of facilities in Alaska, Washington and Oregon is expected to be finalized in March, while the California acquisition is expected to close in Q3 of 2025, according to a Dec. 18 news release from the health system.
The facilities being acquired are:
- Providence Extended Care, Providence Transitional Care Center and Providence Horizon House in Anchorage, Alaska.
- St. Elizabeth Care Center in North Hollywood, Calif.
- Benedictine Nursing Center and Benedictine Orchard House Assisted Living in Mount Angel, Ore.
- Marianwood in Issaquah, Wash., Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, Wash., and St. Joseph Care Center and Emilie Court in Spokane, Wash.
The Ensign Group also recently acquired five Texas nursing homes through its real estate company, Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT.
