Out of 129 older adult community operators, Brookdale Senior Living has the most communities included in the “2025 Best Senior Living” list published April 15 by U.S. News & World Report.
Of the 632 Brookdale communities evaluated by the outlet, 319 were deemed as being among the “best” in the U.S.
U.S. News surveyed nearly 450,000 residents and their family members living at more than 3,800 independent living, assisted living, memory care and continuing care retirement communities nationwide. Read more about the methodology here.
Texas has the most communities on the list, while the District of Columbia and North Dakota have the highest percentage of best-rated communities out of each state’s total number of evaluated communities.
