Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health will partner on a joint venture with skilled nursing facility management company Ahava Healthcare at four of the health system’s long-term care and assisted living facilities.
Ballad Health will continue to participate in governance of the facilities after the partnership goes into effect May 1, according to a March 26 news release from the health system.
The four facilities included in the joint venture are:
- Francis Marion (Va.) Manor
- Laughlin Healthcare Center (Greeneville, Tenn.)
- Madison House (Kingsport, Tenn.)
- Wexford House (Kingsport, Tenn.)
About 200 current Ballad Health team members will be offered employment with Ahava Healthcare as part of the partnership, the release said.
