Ascension to open $30M Florida rehab hospital

St. Louis-based Ascension will open a $30 million inpatient rehabilitation facility on its Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola (Fla.) medical campus, according to an Oct. 4 Pensacola News Journal report.

The 44-bed facility is slated to open in 2026, according to an Oct. 3 Ascension Sacred Heart news release shared with Becker’s.

Ascension Sacred Heart also plans to open a freestanding emergency department and two pharmacies by January, the release said.
