The resident had pulmonary symptoms before being admitted to the facility, according to Christine Martin, director of strategic marketing for Legacy Health Services, which operates the short-term senior rehab center.
Broadview has shut down its water system while officials investigate the source of the bacteria.
County officials are also investigating a Legionnaires’ case connected to a Strongsville, Ohio based-senior living facility. Officials have not found any evidence of a link between the two cases.
