The member-driven nonprofit Root Cause Coalition released details on its second annual summit scheduled for Oct. 9-10 in Louisville, Ky.
The event will include a keynote address from Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, along with sessions on building successful coalitions to address population health, addressing social determinants of health through workforce development and validating the patient experience, among others.
The Root Cause Coalition was founded in 2015 to improve the health of America's disenfranchised communities by addressing issues pertaining to social determinants of health like poverty, housing instability and hunger.
