Chicago-Area Anesthesia Practices Merge, Open Midwest Anesthesia Partners

Park Ridge Anesthesiology Associates and Lake County Anesthesiologists outside of Chicago have merged to form Midwest Anesthesia Partners, according to Chicago Healthcare Daily.

The practices merged to gain leverage with hospitals, according to the report. Midwest Anesthesia Partners now employs 68 physicians and 18 nurse anesthetists. It will practice at three hospitals within a 30-mile range, as well as seven ambulatory surgery centers.

David Rosen, MD, will serve as the president of the new entity. He formerly served as the president of Park Ridge.
