Kim Spencer, PharmD, St. Louis-based SSM Health’s chief pharmacy officer, has stepped down from her role.
Dr. Spencer, who built and oversaw a team of 1,400 pharmacy professionals, said in a July 7 LinkedIn that the post was “the honor of my career.”
She also reflected on the challenges facing health systems, particularly those serving vulnerable populations. “Now more than ever, I understand that health systems need true partners who create win-win solutions to strengthen sustainability and accelerate growth,” Dr. Spencer said.
