Sam’s Club pharmacies are now selling Novo Nordisk’s Ozempic and Wegovy for $499 per month, expanding consumer access to the popular GLP-1 drugs used for diabetes and weight loss.

The retailer joins Costco, GoodRx and Novo Nordisk’s NovoCare Pharmacy in offering the same discounted price, according to an Oct. 8 report from USA Today. Wegovy’s list price is $1,349 for a month of doses.

Novo Nordisk is broadening retail access as more insurers expand GLP-1 drug coverage. In 2024, 44% of large employers covered GLP-1 drugs for obesity, up from 41% the year before.
