Premier Pharmacy Labs recalls all sterile products after FDA inspection

Premier Pharmacy Labs is recalling all its unexpired, sterile drugs after an FDA inspection raised questions about their sterility.

The recall notice lists 20 affected products, including mitomycin, naloxone and sodium bicarbonate injections.

“Administration of a drug product intended to be sterile that is not sterile could result in serious infections that may be life-threatening,” the recall notice reads.

The affected products were compounded in Weeki Wachee, Fla., and  distributed nationwide.
