Johnson & Johnson will begin marketing four prescription drugs on the Trump administration’s TrumpRx website, according to an April 24 report from CBS News.

The drugs include metformin, metformin extended release, Invokana and Xarelto. Pricing on the platform shows Invokana discounted 62% to about $225 from $598.56, Xarelto discounted 68% to about $197 from $611.82, and Invokamet XR — an extended-release combination of canagliflozin and metformin — discounted 62% to about $225 from $598.56, based on listed cash-pay prices.

The move follows a voluntary agreement announced in January to lower costs by providing Medicaid access to prescriptions and listing products on the site in exchange for exemption from tariffs. The addition also comes as the Trump administration expands the platform through a series of pricing agreements with drugmakers. AbbVie and Genentech recently joined as the 10th and 11th participants. Abbvie added Humira for $950, representing an 86% discount off the list price, and Genentech added Xofluza for $50, down from a list price of $168.

Regeneron also reached an agreement with the administration to offer a drug through the platform while aligning certain U.S. prices with international benchmarks. Under these deals, participating drugmakers have received incentives such as tariff relief in exchange for pricing concessions and U.S.-based investment commitments.

TrumpRx launched in February with 43 medications and has since grown to include dozens more as manufacturers opt in. The platform is designed primarily for uninsured patients or those without coverage for specific drugs, directing users to manufacturer discounts or cash-pay pricing options.

However, the platform has faced scrutiny. Analyses have found some drugs listed on TrumpRx are available at lower prices through insurance, generics or third-party discount programs. The site also does not integrate with insurance, limiting its use for many patients despite its expanding list of participating drugmakers.
