FDA extends shelf life of J&J vaccine

The FDA extended the shelf life of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine from nine months to 11.

The extension was authorized April 7 in a letter from the agency after it reviewed new data submitted by the company. The FDA has extended the vaccine’s shelf life three times since June, most recently from six to nine months on March 15.
