CVS shakes up leadership team

CVS Health announced four changes to its executive leadership team Feb. 12.

The company said the changes were made to "support the company's continued focus on innovation and strategic growth."

  • Alan Lotvin, MD, will become president of CVS Caremark. Dr. Lotvin is currently executive vice president of CVS Health.

  • Jonathan Meyhew, most recently the senior vice president of Aetna Markets, will become executive vice president of transformation.

  • Alec Cunningham, who joined CVS Health last year from Concerto Healthcare, will become executive vice president and COO of Aetna.

  • Derica Rice, the current executive vice president and president of CVS Caremark, will leave the company after February.
