5 pharmacy execs recently promoted to C-suite roles

Four health systems and hospitals have recently promoted pharmacy leaders:

1. Lady of the Sea General Hospital, based in Galliano, La., named Lloyd Guidry Jr., PharmD, its next CEO. Dr. Guidry previously served Lady of the Sea as pharmacy director for 28 years. 

2. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health tapped Nannette Berensen, PharmD, to serve as the new COO. In an earlier role, Dr. Berensen served as director of pharmacy services for Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

3. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, based in Harrison, promoted Josh Bright, PharmD, to chief operating officer. For nearly five years, Dr. Bright was the hospital's director of pharmacy services.

4. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health appointed Indu Lew, PharmD, as chief of staff to Mark Manigan, president of the health system. In a former role, Dr. Lew served as the system's chief pharmacy officer. 

5. RWJBarnabas Health chose Robert Adamson, PharmD, for executive vice president and CIO. Dr. Adamson previously served as chief pharmacy officer.
