David Steward, World Wide Technology founder and Centene board member, is resigning from the insurer's board of directors, effective Oct. 6.
Mr. Steward ended his 18-year standing as a Centene board member to dedicate time to his family and other business interests, the company said Oct. 8.
"David has been a key and valuable member of our Board of Directors for 18 years," said Michael Neidorff, Centene chair and CEO. "We are grateful for his exemplary leadership."
