The new plan, offered in Maricopa and Pinal counties, provides those with employer-sponsored plans with access to Banner Health Network, an accountable care organization that expands the state’s largest provider with primary care and specialist physicians, according to the Dec. 1 announcement.
Members have access to 5,000 physicians and 15 medical centers through the network.
The plan also includes a “concierge support model” for customer support to provide personalized assistance to members that cuts down on transfers and delays, according to the announcement.
