Stride Health inks deal to connect freelancers with health insurance resources

Stride Health announced a partnership with freelance work platform Fiverr to connect workers with health insurance.

The move will provide independent workers using the platform with personalized recommendations for coverage and points them toward financial aid or subsidies under the American Rescue Plan, according to ZDNet. It also allows them to use Stride Health’s benefits platform.

Both Stride Health and Fiverr found a disconnect between independent workers’ concerns over healthcare coverage and how to access low-cost options provided by ACA marketplaces.

“Health insurance has never been more affordable for more people, but not enough people know that,” Noah Lang, co-founder and CEO of Stride Health, told ZDNet. “This partnership will help U.S.-based, self-employed professionals on Fiverr realize how affordable health insurance can be, help them find the best health coverage for their specific needs at the lowest possible price, and provide them with year-round support to get the most from their benefits.”
