Sanford Health, HealthPartners team up for Medicare plans

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health and HealthPartners, a Minneapolis-based health plan managing government insurance, will launch Medicare plans in North Dakota and South Dakota effective Jan. 1.

The joint Medicare plans will offer HealthPartners members coordinated care with Sanford physicians, among other providers. They also include travel benefits and vision and hearing exams. 

Kelby Krabbenhoft, president and CEO of Sanford Health, said, "By introducing these new plans in the market, we are furthering our commitment to provide high quality, low cost healthcare to residents of the Dakotas."
