Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona hired Pam Kehaly to serve as president and CEO, effective in November.
Here are four notes:
1. Ms. Kehaly will come to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona from Anthem, where she is president of the west region.
2. She oversees Anthem's affiliated Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield health plans in eight states as well as the company's specialty business.
3. She spent 25 years working at Anthem.
4. She replaces Richard L. Boals, who retired, ending a 45-year tenure with the company.
