The move makes the payer the first in Vermont and New York to roll out such an initiative, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
The insurer is tapping BioReference Laboratories’ digital platform, Scarlet Health, which allows members to schedule an in-home visit after meeting with a physician in person or virtually. Members then receive their results digitally.
