Molina Healthcare of Michigan appoints Dr. Taft Parsons CMO: 3 points

Troy-based Molina Healthcare of Michigan selected Taft Parsons III, MD, to serve as CMO, according to a Michigan Chronicle report.

1. In 2013, Dr. Parsons joined Long Beach, Calif.-based Molina Healthcare as vice president of behavioral health plans.

2. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association and Michigan Psychiatric Society.

3. In his new role, Dr. Parsons will provide oversight for the health plan’s clinical operations.
