Memorial Community Hospital & Health System back in network with BCBS plan

Blair, Neb.-based Memorial Community Hospital & Health System primary care providers and a regional Blue Cross Blue Shield plan will network for coverage effective Nov. 1, reports Washington County Pilot Tribune & Enterprise.

MCH&HS CEO Tim Plante said the system will be the only hospital outside of Omaha, Neb., and Lincoln, Neb., networking with Premier Select BlueChoice. Clinics in Nebraska’s Fort Calhoun and Tekamah will also be in network with the plan.

Roughly 30 MCH&HS primary care physicians have not been in network with the plan for at least a year, according to the report.
