Long Beach (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center and Cerritos, Calif.-based CareMore Health Plan are teaming up to allow CareMore members access to the medical center's inpatient and outpatient services at in-network rates, according to the Orange County Breeze.
Under the terms of the agreement, CareMore health plan members will be able to continue receiving treatment at its comprehensive care center near the medical center.
"This strategic alliance will expand access to comprehensive care of the highest quality that Long Beach Memorial offers to Medicare beneficiaries and community members of all ages throughout the region," said John Bishop, CEO of Long Beach Memorial. "We are pleased to collaborate with CareMore to extend this enhanced level of care to their members."
