Amerigroup Iowa has signed an agreement with McFarland Clinic of Ames, Iowa, to give Amerigroup Medicaid members access to McFarland Clinic's physicians, specialists, laboratories and facilities across central Iowa.
McFarland Clinic is central Iowa's largest physician-owned multispecialty health network, serving 12 Iowa communities and more than 1 million patients annually.
"McFarland Clinic care providers have been serving central Iowans for 70 years, and we have made a commitment to continue serving Medicaid beneficiaries through the state's transition to managed care," said McFarland CEO Andrew Perry in a prepared statement.
