Health insurer Humana teamed up with Spry Labs, a subsidiary of Cincinnati-based Cintrifuse, to host a hackathon in hopes of creating a more efficient way to link policyholders and healthcare providers, WCPO reports.
The Louisville, Ky.-based insurer and Spry Labs are putting on the "data jam," similar to a hackathon, from Sept. 29 to 30 in Cincinnati. About 30 individuals were selected to participate.
Winners will receive a $5,000 prize from Humana and a possible partnership with the insurer to build the solution, according to the report.
