The health plan will be available Jan. 1 for Santa Clara County residents.
A joint operating committee with representatives from Cigna, Good Samaritan and Good Samaritan’s physician group, Santa Clara County IPA, will oversee the plan.
The alliance marks Cigna’s fourth local arrangement in California.
