Here are three things to know.
1. Reports surfaced last month the pharmacy giant is in talks to purchase Aetna for more than $66 billion in cash and stock.
2. CVS Health and Aetna are in advanced stages of negotiating a deal, according to the report. The deal would value Aetna at between $200 and $205 per share.
3. CVS Health’s shares rose 3.9 percent following the news, while Aetna’s stocks increased 1.3 percent, Reuters reports.
