Community Health Plan of Washington hired Keith Brown, MD, to serve as CMO and Patty Jones, RN, as senior vice president of health services.
Here are four points:
1. Dr. Brown, a clinical psychiatrist, has served in leadership roles at numerous managed care companies and hospitals. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
2. He formerly served as chair of the Committee for Community Medical Directors.
3. Ms. Jones has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including 10 as a national consultant advising health plans on medical management and integrated care.
4. She has also served as a National Committee for Quality Improvement surveyor.
