Cigna and Oscar Health are rolling out a co-signed health plan for Illinois small businesses.
Cigna + Oscar will launch in five Illinois counties as it targets businesses with between one and 50 employees, according to the Sept. 9 announcement.
The partnership leans on Cigna's provider network and Oscar's tech-rooted approach. This includes access to the Cigna LocalPlus provider network, Cigna's Open Access Plus network, and $0 copay for 24/7 virtual urgent care.
"Chicago small businesses have endured a lot throughout the pandemic, and many have proven to be resilient in keeping their doors open," said Brian Marsella, Midwest market president for Cigna. "Through our partnership with Oscar, we are providing more choices for affordable, predictable and simple health coverage to small businesses at a time when they need it most."
