In its announcement, BCBSNJ said the contract was cancelled because the insurer “could not agree to the demands for rate increases made my Christ Hospital.”
Although the contract termination was effective Jan. 30, BCBSNJ members will be able to use Christ Hospital through May 31 at in-network prices.
