BCBS of North Dakota secures 4-year Medicaid contract

Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota earned a statewide contract to be a Medicaid Expansion Managed Care Service provider.

The contract is good for four years and begins January 1, 2022.

The state’s Department of Human Services made the announcement June 28, noting that North Dakota is one of 36 states expanding Medicaid services with a focus on low-income adults.

“We understand the importance of this responsibility,” Dan Conrad, president and CEO of BCBSND, said in a news release. “We’re motivated to continue to innovate to meet the unique needs of our friends, family and neighbors; no matter where they are in their health journey.”
