Indianapolis-based Anthem Blue Cross began offering Medicare beneficiaries in Missouri a Plan G supplement option, effective March 1.
The supplemental insurance will include coverage for coinsurance and deductibles for Medicare Part A, or hospital insurance, and copayments and coinsurance for Medicare Part B, or medical insurance. Plan G does not cover deductibles under Medicare Part B, which total $183 this year.
In addition to Medicare supplement plans, Anthem also sells Medicare Advantage plans in Missouri.
