Aetna, Cigna, Anthem and Humana’s latest financial results

1. Aetna profit soars in Q1
Health insurer Aetna reported net income of $777.5 million on $15.1 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, up from net income of $665.5 million on $14 billion in revenue a year earlier.

2. Cigna beats analyst projections in Q1
Health insurer Cigna reported net income of $533 million on $9.5 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, up from net income of $528 million on $8.5 billion in revenue a year earlier.

3. Anthem reports better-than-expected quarterly profit
Health insurer Anthem reported net income of $865.2 million on $18.9 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, up from net income of $701 million on $17.6 billion in revenue a year earlier.

4. Humana posts $430M profit in Q1
Health insurer Humana reported net income of $430 million on $13.8 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, up from net income of $368 million on $11.7 billion in revenue a year earlier.
