From UnitedHealthcare mending a seven-month contract dispute with Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health to Humana Tricare members regaining in-network access to five Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare-owned hospitals, here are five payers making headlines this week. 

1. Wellmark in South Dakota names president: 3 notes
Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Dakota named Lori Clausen president, effective Jan. 1.

2. Premier Health, UnitedHealthcare end 7-month impasse; 200k members in-network
Premier Health and UnitedHealthcare agreed to a new, multiyear contract, effective Jan. 1.

3. Augusta Health goes out of network with Anthem BCBS
Fishersville, Va.-based Augusta Health's in-network contract with Anthem BlueCross BlueShield expired Dec. 31.

4. Humana Tricare members regain in-network access to 5 Tenet hospitals
Beneficiaries covered under Humana Tricare regained in-network access Jan. 1 to Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health's hospitals, outpatient centers and physician clinics, which are owned by Tenet Healthcare. 

5. Anthem to cut pay for some same-day services by 25%: 4 things to know
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield plans to reduce payment by 25 percent for some separate services administered on the same day as a wellness exam or another procedure.
