The four Pennslyvania hospitals include York-based Memorial Hospital, Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz-based Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Carlisle Regional Medical Center. PinnacleHealth completed the transaction July 1.
Capital BlueCross, also in Harrisburg, said its policyholders will retain the same access to affected hospitals and providers, despite the facilities’ names changing to reflect the acquisition.
PinnacleHealth is working with other CHS insurance partners to arrange similar agreements.
