The company received a $43.2 million modification to its existing contract with the U.S. military for patient monitoring systems, related accessories and system training.
The modification marks the seventh one-year option renewal of nine one-year options allowable, according to the Department of Defense. Involved parties aim to finish equipment production by January 2017.
Federal civilian agencies as well as the army, navy, air force and marines will receive the equipment from GE healthcare.
