Hartford, Ky.-based Ohio County Healthcare has named Medline as its prime vendor, providing the 15-facility health system access to the company’s medical-surgical products and distribution capabilities.
The transition includes sterile procedure packs, wound care products and gloves, according to an Aug. 27 news release. Medline will also support the ordering and delivery of medical supplies across the health system.
Ohio County Healthcare said the agreement is intended to simplify procurement and improve operational efficiency.
